There are many scientists on the scene that have sung this song to our Green Mother Earth as they were researching about the different geological phenomenon of her. All the incidents of the past millions of years are etched in the different parts of the earth. All revealing a story of their own. And even today they are making history. What are we doing to our Earth? It’s all getting written and stored in various ways in earth. Pointing to one direction – the DOOMSDAY of coming Future.

The Green World where we reside today is a wonderful place to live in terms of lifestyle, comfort and of course a very complex eco system. This complex system makes us ignorant of the conditions of Earth and the detrimental effects of our actions on it. A complex eco system has many components of animals and plants and it becomes difficult to follow or actually notice the changes due to Global Warming or Pollution.

The scientists from various parts of the world were themselves trying to find some hard evidence of the detrimental conditions of the earth. They carried out many tests but none of them yielded accurate results. Then they sought to go to the cold grave of the earth – The Antarctica in the South Pole. The south Antarctica has the most simplest of all eco systems with few fingered components of the bio-diversity. The researchers have well dug the area for many other stories of our past. And according to them it holds the Words of Wisdom of Earth – Past, Present and Future. It holds all the journeys, voyages and fables through which Earth went and is now as today. And it also holds the initial picture to what will happen to our Earth in the coming future. The journey of age.

When we encounter a road accident ourselves in front of our own eyes, we understand the intensity of the accident and the damage caused. It disturbs us so much through our day to day life. It provokes us to do social work or something or the other to stop such incidents. But if we hear of those over TV or in Newspaper, we forget it the next moment without realizing our carelessness that such might affect us later in some other incident. Here in this case, the scientists are watching icebergs the size of Belgium and of height 10 storey high melting. They see themselves the cracking of the great ice shelves. They understand the intensity of the damage and are desperately trying to invoke the nations to take actions immediately.

And in some ways, there have been hot debates and issues on it. The efforts of these scientists are working. The G8 summit is based over discussion on Global Warming and to work out on different plans and programmes to save our green earth. The sensatizing and the awareness of the people are growing by leaps and bounds. Youth like us are working more and more to do our part of work in saving.

This journey of age undertaken by the scientists through theories and research work only proves one thing, the Green Mother is dying. The destruction on this Green Heaven will not only take toll on environment enthusiasts and scientist but it will drown all the crooked humans as well as the innocent flora and fauna. The journey is about to end.
