Ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you – The most dangerous animal on earth. This animal is not endangered and has evolved itself as a very intelligent animal. But it does lack the traces of sympathy, compassion, empathy and love for its fellow animals as well as the animals around it. No no, you cannot feed him with anything; he’s very aware of his own food and preys on unconventional sources of energy. His wants are unlimited and is able to make his own shelter and fire. We took a long time to identify and recognize this animal. It is Homo sapiens – the Man Species.

This is how you should expect to be welcomed by the show host in a zoo in Lusaka, Zambia in Africa. The zoo has a big cage with a label of – The most dangerous animal on earth, inside the cage is a big mirror. One can very well comprehend the rest of the story.

This gesture very clearly indicates the position of man in today’s world. Though we are very intelligent as well as developed, our uncanny attitude towards the Green World is beyond susceptibility. The man in today world is selfish. His wants are unlimited. He can go to any limit to prosper his dreams and get what he wants. And in these few dangerous animals lie Humanitarian Humans. The people of the zoo in Africa are Humanitarian. We all are humanitarian.” We” includes those who read this blog and are working in some way or the either to save our wonderful Mother Earth. There are scientists who helped make the atom and nuclear bombs and there are scientists who are working for saving our Planet Earth by warning us continuously and researching on different recycling projects. The world is full of Man and Humans. But we need to tame that man at this very moment to create more humans with a Humanitarian outlook of love, empathy and compassion for saving earth from the coming disaster. This human will not only realize his cruelty towards the mother – Earth but will also mend his ways immediately to stop further damage of her different parts.

The line sums it all. More than any other animal on earth, may it be the Shark, the Python, the wild Boar or the poisonous Jelly fish; we are the ones who are damaging the earth the most. By all our virtues of science and technology, we have thought of inheriting the earthy from our forefathers and are using it with the most indelicate sarcasm. We think of earth as different parts owned by different countries, which are exploiting the resources with no kindness and sustainability. The day these resources will end, we’ll no longer have to think of whose good and who’s bad. All will end. End in all aspects is certain. The earth will herald into an era of quietness. The only planet of the known universe with life will no longer be as proud of her crown of miracle as this.

We need to view her as a global village where we all live with independence and interdependence. They both are two ends of the thread of life on earth, and when they join, the circle or cycle of life completes with totality. We need to be humans. We need to save her or else there is no other place to go…. Is there?
